		<description>I agree with Da. You are much better off doing a logo for a local company pro bono. It doesn&#039;t matter if it is a company of 2 people or 200, you can design it as professionally and carefully as if you were being paid $10,000.</description>

		<description>Design contests are *not* a good way to build a portfolio. Good design involves the client&#039;s needs, wants and business objectives. Rarely will you gain any insight to those things via the design contests. 

Design contests rarely benefit the designers nor the clients that use them.</description>
